Attorney Yael Rockman is the Executive Director of Kolech.  Yael has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and in Law from Bar Ilan University.  She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Gender Studies also at Bar Ilan.  She was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 2004.  Yael is an Orthodox feminist activist. In 2002 Yael began working at Yad LaIsha and then in 2005 was part of the team that established the Center for Woman’s Justice.  In both roles Yael was active in defending the rights of Jewish woman denied their Get (religious divorce) by recalcitrant husbands.  In 2014 Yael joined the Board of Kolech and in 2015 she was appointed the organization’s Executive Director.
