Alan Silverman, Director of Moshava Indian Orchard, will share Moshava’s two-year process in which lay leadership, administration, families, rabbis, teachers, and various stakeholders learned, discussed, and proactively educated themselves and determined how to include gay members in the Moshava community. Dr. Mark Shinar, Administrator of SAR High School, will share SAR’s similar process in a school setting. In the morning, participants will join all of the conference attendees in choosing their own sessions on a variety of topics.
