With the 2016 presidential election complete, the issues that were of greatest import during the election will continue to have major effects on women, children, and families. This session explores NCJW’s Jewish values-based advocacy efforts for reproductive health, rights, and justice; contraceptive access; paid family leave; voting rights; and filling judicial vacancies. Nancy K. Kaufman will share her insights about these significant policy challenges, where women’s organizational priorities might best be focused with the new administration, and action steps for new and experienced advocates to make their voices heard in their hometowns and on Capitol Hill.
