Together with members of the Original Women of the Wall, this session will explore the role of women and prayer within our Jewish and Israeli context and specifically the innovative efforts of Jewish women in prayer groups and the consequential movement to the kotel space. This session is dedicated to the memory of Rivka Haut,Z'L, a champion of Orthodox Jewish women, who noted in 1988 when women first read from the Torah at the Kotel: We redeemed the Torah for women today.
